Ben is a long time spearo, who gianed moderate fame for almost dying in a shallow water blackout in Texas back in 2016 and posting it to youtube. Located in St Pete, Florida, Ben is also the FSDA's conservation chair, responsible for communicating fisheries issues to the community. 

Austin is a professional fish chaser, and firm believer that “one more drop” has never hurt anybody… probably. When he’s not building boats or working, he’s offshore convincing people the last fish really was that big. He’s all about safe dives, good friends, and just enough bad decisions to make good stories later. If you see him at a club event, say hi—just don’t ask how many spearguns is “enough.” 

Sean is a long-time member of the dive community. In addition to he role at FSDA, Sean is also the Treasurer of Reef Monitoring Inc. Located in Brandon, FL 

Kara has been a member of the FSDA since 2018, and secretary since 2022. Kara was the co-founder of the former all women's club: WSA. Located in St. Pete, FL, Kara works as a fisheries biologist.
